Welcome toVideo Gaming.

Learn basic programming skills by creating video games. Students start with Scratch and proceed to Game Maker Studio.

Video game development is a hybrid field, drawing from computing science, mathematics, graphic design, sound enginnering, and marketing. When taken in conjunction with other courses in this CTS strand, students will appreciate the "symbiotic" interaction between the learning and application of the diverse skill sets.

Mathematics Grade 10-3

Not strictly a CTS course, this is part of my teaching assignment for the first semester of School Year 2019-20.  This course fulfills part of your diploma requirement.  We will be using a workbook and by following guided pathways, you will be intorduced to a variety of mathematical subject materials from Money and Income to Trigonometry.

Passing this course will depend onyour work ethic and attitude to problem solving.  Doing well could lead to challenging the Math 10C curriculum.

Please be ready to work diligently and to have required material for work (pen, pencil, paper, calculator).
